At Little Narratives, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can delete your account at any time directly from the app. This page explains what happens when you delete your account, depending on whether you are a Family (parent/guardian) user or a Centre (educator) user.
When you delete a Family account, the following data is permanently removed:
Stories and music that include your child remain accessible to the centre. Your child's profile at the centre is retained so the centre can continue providing care and documentation. Your parent identifier is removed from the child's linked accounts.
Deleting a Centre account triggers a deferred deletion process to protect families who rely on the centre's data:
When a Centre owner deletes their account, the centre's data enters a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion. During this time, linked families are notified so they can save any stories, music, or portfolio content they wish to keep.
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you wish to use Little Narratives again in the future, you will need to create a new account and all previous data will be unavailable.
If you are unable to delete your account through the app (for example, if you have lost access to your login credentials), you can submit a Data Deletion Request through our website. Our team will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
If you have any questions about account deletion or your data rights, please contact us at privacy@littlenarratives.io
